BackRhoads Outfitting - Panhandle Hunting at its Best

In the fall of 1987, Rick Rhoads began guiding hunters on the family farm and ranch near Guymon, Oklahoma, under the name Panhandle Outfitters. In just a few short years, Rick and his dad, Jerry, grew the business into a multi-state, multi-species outfitting business. The name BackRhoads came to life in 2000, and finally in 2008 the name Panhandle Outfitters was formally retired.

Other changes took place in 2008 when Phillip DeLong of Edmond, OK, began handling most of the customer relations and assisting Jerry with day to day operations. Phillip brought new energy, enthusiasm, and insight to the business and will assume a vital role in the future; however, the Rhoads family, including Anna Marie, remains the "life blood" of BackRhoads.

2010 again brings changes and improvements to BackRhoads Outfitting. While today's economy has many businesses reigning in and shutting down, we have expanded operations and added new opportunities - Trophy whitetail hunts in Kansas and the advent of Down the Road television top the list! You can certainly expect the same personal service and level of commitment you have come to appreciate over the years. We are sure those of you who joined us for a hunt again this fall would agree we haven't missed a beat.
